I've been looking for tea cups, and torn between buying out right and giving them as favors, or just renting for the event. Problem? I have yet to find a place that does tea cup/ware (stands etc) rentals. Other then a place in LA... Anyone else have ideas? Places to look to buy/rent! I need at least 60 tea cups and saucers.

They don't have to match! In fact, I would prefer mismatched teacups just because it makes it more personal to each guest

On the buying side, you could check ebay and amazon etc on top of thrift stores and yard sales ect. I would say if you could get them cheap give em as favors

I did, actually I bought from an antique shop. I was spending the same amount as renting, and decided to give out the tea cup and saucers as gifts! But if you need to rent there is this place http://somethingvintagechinarental.blogspot.com/p/available-china-pieces-and-rates.html
