Tea length wedding dresses

What do you think of tea length wedding dresses? Also, if you had a tea length that was above the ankle level - do you think your BMs could be in long dresses and it would look fine?

I had my eye on a tea length dress at DB but when I tried it on it ended up being more ankle length. The woes of being short. I ended up getting a longer dress because I don't want the hassle of a dress being butchered to fit my stature.

My MOH had a tea length dress with birdcage veil but that's because she likes the whole rockabilly look. We, her BMs, all ended up in knee length or shorter dresses (We were told only to keep it red, no word on length).

I think it could look alright.

    I dont see why not.

Although tea length always feels slightly less formal to me so Id probably stick with short dresses for them.

I Love Love Love them. I wanted one sooo bad but I don't know how to dance and I figured it would be so much more obvious if I wore one. LOL

I have a tea length dress! I love it so much. My BMs will be in knee length, but I think the right style of long dress would look fine. (I would go with something like a flowy maxi dress, nothing too formal.)

I wore a tea length dress and loved it, but I also wanted a less formal wedding and had my only bridal party member wear a shorter dress to match the formality of our day. I agree with @Maggy - if you go with a tea length dress I would make sure their long dresses are something like a flowing maxi dress.

I will be having a tea length!! My girls will be picking a dress of their liking, but our wedding is not going to be super formal so if they pick long I hope it will be more of a long maxi dress like mentioned above!

Some people can rock a tea length dress, then there's me who look completely disproportionate when I try one on! There's nothing wrong with a tea length dress as long as you feel confident and beautiful in it!!!

I think (read, just my opinion) tea length dresses work best with brunch or other less formal weddings. But do what makes you feel happy!

They feel less formal to me and bulky since most time it hides your silhouette so there really no definition so it end up looking like tea party attire hence the name of the dress . But just my opinion to each its own that the true beauty in all this
