Just thinking here, as I received my tax refund and the majority went to bills and some savings. But thankfully I was able to budget accordingly to make a payment towards the venue and my flowers!

It's a sigh of relief knowing my remaining balance for the florist is $50 and the venue is still a painful $1,500 Smiley xd (we've paid $1,100 so far) and it's not super bad but when it's due soon and your wedding date is approaching faster than anticipated it can be very stressful lol We are paying for everything on top of having many financial status changes along the way so it's pretty challenging but so glad things are getting paid.

Anyone else looking forward to their refund for help with wedding expenses?

YES!! I can't wait to get ours back! Since our wedding is nearly paid off (honeymoon, videography, photography and nearly paid of the venue location) ours will probably go to a few pieces of furniture. We need a bedside table set for our bedroom as well as a cute microwave stand with some storage underneath (our apartment doesn't have much counter space so this is where the microwave stand comes in Smiley tongue )

Yeah it feels good now knowing we officially owe less than we have already paid. We are nocking out a lot more this month too. we are actually paying off what we owe the venue directly for taxes, non alcoholic drinks, back drop rental etc. but we will still owe them for food and booze and won't pay that until the end of May.

Our refund is definitely helping. Using it to pay off our venue and honeymoon excursions

Yep!! I just got mine, and was able to pay off our rings, my dress, and the venue!! Of course, those were all fairly small amounts compared to what's coming!! But I feel so good to have those other things paid for!! After paying bills, I put the rest into our wedding fund!

Yep. Some of it went to pay venue which is my biggest cost other than photography because it is all inclusive. Venue is 1/2 paid, photographer is 1/3 paid. They don't need final payments until a month and 2 weeks before the wedding so FH is hoping his business deal is closed by then so he can pay those off. I'm working on small details now so the costs won't pile up at one time. DIY, belt, veil, his ring, stamps, invites, etc. I'd rather see small chunks of money go each week than have huge payments to make in the end haha.

The Smoky Mountains is where my FH proposed. I tried to convince him to elope while we were there.

Yes I was able to pay off DJ, photographer, photobooth, florist, officiant, and we put 1900 on the venue and now we only owe 3900 and we will be paid off completely and it is such a sigh of relief

YES! I can't wait haha Smiley xd

My fiance and I have already decided to use every penny of our refund towards our wedding expenses. We're pretty sure it won't be much but it'll definitely help us get started to make deposits and whatnot to finally get the ball rolling.

We are using a couple hundred dollars from it but most of ours is going to new siding on our house. I’m almost as excited about that as the wedding 🤣

Yes I put aside my refund for the wedding insurance, and the last bit of the dj and florist. So nice!

Well we file our taxes separate so my SO is putting hers towards the wedding and I am putting mine towards other bills.
