Tampa Wedding Churches

Kimberly, on December 19, 2012 at 5:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

I'm looking for a Church in the Tampa Bay (FL) area that allows weddings. The church we were going to get married at baled on us last minute.

Does anyone know of or attend a church in the Tampa, FL area that allows non-member weddings?

I do not live in Tampa, but I found these online:

    Sacred Heart Church (813) 229-1595

    St Andrew's Episcopal Church (813) 221-2035

    First Presbyterian Church (813) 276-1681

    St Andrew's Episcopal Church (813) 221-2035

    First Presbyterian Church (813) 229-0679

First Baptist Church of Tampa (813) 251-2425

    Reality Church Tampa (813) 228-8700

Sarasota County Historical Society owns Crocker Church and it is available for rent. No minister -- not a functioning church, just a venue. But, I can officiate there.

I was going to say Sacred Heart, which is beautiful, but I'm pretty sure you have to be a member there, and do all the handy dandy Catholic things. H's best man got married at a church somewhere near USF 5 years ago -- I can ask him which church. Does it matter which denomination? Does it need to be close to any specific reception venue?
