Congrats !!! It is overwhelming but remember it’s a celebration of love . I am all about saving and doing things myself and I’ve been able to find all my vendors . However I highly recommend getting a wedding planner . You don’t need full wedding planning , you can opt for partial but they know the whole event better than you do . They can suggest venues and budgets etc . I did a day of coordinator , they get involved 3 months before the wedding and full day . I’m in Orlando and depends on what kind of wedding your doing but it’s expensive just shop around. Happy planning !

There are a ton of venues in both Orlando and Tampa and many in between too along the I-4 corridor. First of all, start by determining a budget and some general features you want in your venue. Do you want a rustic barn, glamorous resort/rooftop, beachfront, historic, industrial, etc? Narrowing it down to at least a general style will help you start venue shopping.

As far as choosing between Tampa or Orlando, do you have more guests that live in one or the other? If you are getting married far from your house you will potentially need to pay for a hotel room or other place to get ready, so consider that cost too.

The venue search tools on weddingwire are great. You can always start just scrolling through venues in both locations and seeing if something catches your eye and helps you narrow down your style and location.

Both are beautiful cities! Here are some things to consider:
-What type of venue are you looking for?
    -What is your budget?
-What do you want and don't want for your wedding?
    -Indoor or outdoor?

Usually the top three things that take play are the venue, date, and budget. Because once you have all three set then everything else just follows right after.
