Tampa fl brides help!! Elopement/ Wedding locations

Hello all ! I am recently engaged (12/09) and not sure what to do. My Fiancé and I have been together for about 11 years and I have no vision on this wedding planning process. We are debating on an elopement type wedding ( only close family/friends) or a smaller wedding (Max 75 guest 8-10k Budget). Any recommendations for venue or ideas is greatly appreciated Smiley smile

    Congratulations on your engagement! We're in Tampa too. You should try to go to the Bridal Expo at the convention center tomorrow. But to answer your question with a question, would you consider a cruise wedding? We seriously considered it but it didn't turn out to be the best option for our larger guest list. Relatively inexpensive comparatively and they do most of the planning for you. Then you can leave right away on your honeymoon with some or even all of your guests if they want to sail too.

    Oh that cruise idea sounds great, we considered it but decided to do a 30 person sailboat wedding in Key West instead!

    We did look into the cruise idea, but my mom gets highly sea sick so had to throw that out. I am going to try to go hopefully they sell tickets at the door.
