I want a taco bar at my wedding. my MIL thinks its fine but also thinks we need other choices for people that dont want tacos. this is what she suggested....

appetizers

spinach and artichoke dip, fruit, cheese & crackers, bbq meatballs.

meats

fried chicken, roast beef

sides

chopped salad, veggie pasta salad, and a baked potato bar.

too much? i dont really think we need all the extra food. i was thinking a taco bar would be fine on its own, (ETA: and appetizers) there would be a lot of options for the taco bar, so if someone doesnt want tacos they could make a salad, or just eat the meat by its self. maybe a taco bar and extra appetizers? im not sure.

We are having a catered taco bar (chicken, beef, pork) with veggies, sides, toppings, etc. We will also have plenty of other appetizers (elote, spinach artichoke dip, cheeses and meats, etc). Luckily, our entire guest list is family and our bridal party. And luckily, everyone in that group loves mexican food, so I think we are in the clear.

Are you having it catered or doing it yourself? I am trying to come up with a budget. We have a family friend who will cook all the food and serve if we buy the food. Thanks in advance! Smiley smile
