Table Numbers Ideas

Mandi, on July 16, 2019 at 10:26 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 9
Hey, so I'm slowly beginning to accept that I may need to assign all of my guests to a table.
Not looking forward to this at all.
Of course, this means I should probably number my tables.
My centerpieces will be upcycled tin cans weighted by birdseed with candles in them. (Read: flames)
I need some non flammable table number ideas.
I've seen the picks, but obviously putting paper numbers on wooden picks in a candle holder isnt the brightest idea.
I've seen picture frames. But I don't want to go drop more money on 30 photo frames.
Any ideas that are cheap and won't burn down my venue?

Go to Dollar Tree and buy 30 frames. Alternatively you could use photo holders (can also be purchased from Dollar Tree) and put the table numbers inside the photo holder. That is the style I went with.

You could just have numbers you print out on card stock and leave them outside the jar. Like tented table number jars

I really don’t think you’d have too much of a problem with the pick/photo holder style (like in earias’s photo) so long as you don’t place them extremely close to the flame. People use those type of numbers all the time without burning their venues down 😂

You say that. But... I've started a couple accidental fires in my life. I'm just kinda flighty and things happen. Fortunately I'm super calm and can put out fires very quick and calmly.

The candles should be protected by the tin cans if I'm imagining your centerpiece right. It would be similar to mine where I had candles of varying heights. If you notice, my candles were enclosed which kept the flames away from the paper table numbers next to them.

I found them on FB Marketplace, but I'm sure a craft store carries the supplies, but I'm using wooden table numbers.

They're much shorter than the candles so I'm not too worried about the fire risk.

You could also paint or vinyl sticker the numbers right on the can
