Well, future pastor. When I met my fh, he was totally opposite of what he's like now. He was a crazy partier and he was always drinking and going out and spending money everywhere to show off. He was always a great guy, but he was nutso! Lol. I loved him for who he was, but when we started getting closer, I invited him to youth group (sounds so childish, but we weren't old enough to be kicked out yet. lol) and he went. It didn't take much of him coming to church with me for him to get saved and he's turned into a whole different person. He reads his Bible all the time, he's taking classes at a Bible college! and has convinced me to go too. He recently started working with the youth group, and the youth pastor told him that he's gonna give him a week every month to teach. So he's already teaching the kids! Looks like it cut off your 2nd post. Can I recommend this book to you. It's been very eye-opening and insightful for me. The book just came out a month or so ago. She's been doing an online book discussion on her website but I haven't been able to keep up.

Nope. wedding wire is not working right right now. ill email someone and let them know. basically, hes training to be a pastor, im proud, and bragging a bit... lol

Ladylee, i definitely know that thats a call on my life too. ive been preparing myself for a long time. God put it on my heart that I was gonna be a pastors wife when i was like 13! and i am definitely gonna get that book!

Hang on tight - its quite a ride! MY husband went into full time ministry for a couple of years & we've been in church leadership for years. We've had some brutal treatment by fellow pastors & some wonderful treatment. Continue to be yourself, but know that the flock is always watching. If you do go out to start a church, take another couple or two with you. It really helps to have people who are like minded in style and substance with you from the get go. E-mail me sometime - I have plenty of stories & resources!

Propose. and he might be going on two more this summer. it was also his idea not to have sex until we get married, and hes been reading every book we could find about having a marriage based on God and preparing for marriage.
