Anyone have any recommendations for a hair/makeup artist in Southwest Michigan? We’re getting married in Three Oaks, and whenever I look on here, the knot, or Yelp, the majority of the salons don’t even have photos!

I just dont don’t feel comfortable making and paying for an appointment if the makeup artist isn’t even good, so I would love some recs and photos!

Look on Instagram. Most vendors use a lot of hashtags to help people find them. I'd try things like #battlecreekmua #kalamazooweddings #stjoemakeup, stuff like that.

I have seen that barn and it is so beautiful. I almost looked at that venue myself. I’m getting married on 10/19/19 at a barn in Goshen, Indiana. I am looking to book Bethza Professional Makeup Studio. They are located in downtown Elkhart but I think they are willing to travel.

Congrats and good luck! I'm also in Michigan (more towards Lansing though) and trying to find someone even just for hair who will do on site is frustrating. I'm doing my own makeup but what if my girls want it done? The makeup from a place I am considering is a nightmare. Think 90s sperm brows and full cake face drag queen. (Not that drag queens aren't fabulous but that is not what I'm going for) The hair seems -okay- but not fabulous and their Instagram isn't even up to date. Much like their brows lmao.
