Survey on Wedding Wire Website

What do you mean? What kind of survey would you need on a wedding website?

Oh, I need to follow this! I'd love to do a little "for fun" survey. My cousin had a quiz on how well you knew the couple and it was sweet and fun.

Do you plan to have them choose from 2 or 3 different options that you list, or just like, a free-for-all, tell me what kind of dessert you want?

IMO, you're better off just choosing for them, like one big cake with 2 different flavors that can feed everyone, which is pretty standard for a wedding. Once you start asking for everyone's opinions, you could be opening a flood gate that you won't be able to close, and might have to deal with people getting mad that you didn't go with their preference or whatever. Usually you pick a dessert, tell the caterer or bakery what you want and the number of guests you have, and they use their judgment and experience to give you the proper quantity.

I haven't seen a survey but i have seen where you can ask custom questions but only as it pertains to when they RSVP.

Hi Michelle! If you design a poll or survey on your own you can add it to a custom page on your WeddingWire website by clicking "Add Page" and "Create Your Own". Click 'Add Selected Pages' and then you will be able to choose from many different types of pages. We do have a way to survey your guests about their music choices but not one preset for desserts, but a lot can be done with these custom pages.

Your Survey Page can only accommodate 4 options. Is there a way that we can add more? I have 12 options for one of my survey. Thanks!

Hi Tiziana! Each survey currently only supports up to four answers however, you are able to add additional surveys to your wedding website. I am happy to share your feedback to add more options with our Development Team!

I tried using Google Forms for my surveys (since my options are >10), but the embedded survey would not appear as is. It will only show the codes.

You are not able to add HTML coding to the wedding website. We recommend that you hyperlink within the text instead!

Are you able to add a survey that allows freeform text? I want to get song suggestions. How would I do that?
