So, I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from www.bridesire.com. It says on their website that they are based out of New Jersey. (NOT TRUE!...more on that later...) It said on their website that you could have it custom made if you just sent your measurements. I ordered 3 dresses and had them "custom made." I put in two separate orders so that two of them would be sent to bridesmaids that live closer together and one to my fiancé’s sister who lives out of state. Well...long story short, the two dresses that were made and sent together were fine! Beautiful dresses! HOWEVER, the one for my fiance's sister was NOT made correctly! I contacted the company and they told us to ship it back to them and they would re-make the dress. Well, the address to ship it back was NOT in New Jersey but in Shanghai, China!

Or how about brides stay away from Chinese knock off sites altogether?

I purchased a dress from ifitdress for a wedding I was in recently. While it came in time, when I tried it on, I realized that there was something very wrong with the collar! It stuck up above my shoulders and no amount of tugging or shifting, could get it to sit correctly. After reviewing the return policies and realizing that I couldn't return it for a refund, and would have to pay shipping for any alterations, i decided to take matters into my own hands. I spent the good part of a Sunday afternoon, cutting off the collar and altering it. while it fit fine after this, the built in bra still fit strangely, higher than I would normally be comfortable. Also the hemline fell well below my knees, as opposed to just above the knees, as shown in the picture on the website. Btw, I carefully measured myself and compared it to the listed sizing info. The dress should have fit perfectly according to their measurements. There was no reason for it not to except that it was made incorrectly.

. Other members of the bridal party who ordered from this website had similar issues . one had to have hers professionally altered (probably costing much less than paying the shipping all the way to china and back). Another girl received a completely different style, and again, chose to order another dress rather than paying shipping costs. Another note, while chiffon is not a breathable fabric to begin with, we were still sweltering in these "summer style" dresses due to the strange lining. It had an extremely padded and layered feeling to it, like no other dress I've ever worn. It is akin to wearing a costume. One final note, the company had NO record (even after I contacted them through email) of my account and purchase until after I received the dress. I had no way of knowing when it was going to be shipped, or if they even had the order to begin with.Be aware: What you order may NOT be what is shown in the description and you need to be ready to alter it yourself, or pay

I purchased a bridesmaid dress from FOX GOWN, an it came back to small, didn't look anything like the dress on the website and they did not want to give me my money back. We email back an forth for days and they would not give me a returning address for there company. Its in China and they had the nerve to tell me I should have order a bigger size. I would so much like to know if anyone have a returning address from this company or have anyone gotten a refund back from theses people. Also I had to send pictures of myself in the dress so they could see where it couldn't zip up. So I just say PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM FOX GOWNS. If anyone has any input please this please feel free to give me some advise on how to get in touch with them by address. Thank You
