We got married on a Sunday and I think we started at 5? We wanted it to kinda cool down because it was September and we were outside in a park.

We’re also doing a Sunday! Our timeline will look like a 3-8. I originally wanted to do 1 o’clock and serve heavy apps. But my Honey said he’d be upset if he came to a wedding with no actual meal.

We decided to push it back to 3 because we live in the South, smack in the Bible Belt. Many guests are Southern Baptist or Pentecostal, so they wouldn’t be getting out of church until later.
Sunday was my first choice. I like it because it seems a little more laid back. Almost all of our guests are local. I figured out-I’d-town guests would’ve taken Friday off to travel anyway, so they likely won’t mind taking a Monday if instead.

Hi Chelsea! Thank you so much for your helpful feedback. I totally hear you - we are in Plano, TX (outside of Dallas) & I know we have a lot of church goers. We chose 5 pm & will serve a meal. I wish you all the best!! ❤️
