I have no issues with a Sunday wedding but I do not work a traditional M-F job so it's not an issue for me to take a Monday off of work if we are traveling from out of town to attend. I wouldn't see any issues for local guests though.

I don't mind a Sunday wedding with enough notice so that I can take Monday off. Consider sending save-the-dates if you want to do a Sunday wedding.

I think a Sunday wedding is okay if you give advanced notice. I’m having a Friday wedding and made sure everyone knew it was a Friday as far in advance as possible. I would’ve went for a Sunday wedding if we wouldn’t have chose Friday, I’d do a brunch instead of a dinner!

We were originally going to do a Sunday wedding to be out of the box and to help keep costs down. I don't see a problem with it, at all.

I think Sundays are fine. Just like any other day of the week, your guests will most likely have to decide if they want to take off the day before, after, or both depending on their schedules.

We're having a Sunday wedding. Our date is our anniversary. The majority of our guests will be coming from out of town. I was worried people would have to take Monday off to travel home. My FH just told me that's not my problem and those that want to be there bad enough will make the arrangements. They'll have just under a year to figure that out. We considered changing the date to a Saturday, but we both loved our date and ultimately decided to keep it.

I think Sunday weddings are great on holiday weekends. Even if it's not a holiday weekend, they're still a good option. Like PP have said, giving notice will make it much easier for your guests.

We are having a Sunday wedding as well! Ceremony isn’t until 4pm and the reception goes until 9:30pm. I know that’s a bit late for a Sunday, but we have always wanted an evening wedding and saturdays at most of the places we were looking at were too expensive....plus...not to sound horrible but our invite list is a lot bigger than I had originally planned (we have 240 invited). Not that I don’t want people to come, but I’m hoping the numbers dwindle down to between 150-175 for money reasons lol Sunday evening wedding might help that

Id say the best days go Saturday, Friday, Sunday, weekdays. So it's a good date because a lot if people have it off, but do possibly have to take Monday off. If they are out of town or state then they have Saturday or even Friday too to come down

I’m getting married on a Sunday. Ceremony is at 3:30 and everything will be done by 9. I’m sending my save the dates out about 9 months in advance for the out of town guests and 7 months for locals. Those who want to be there will come. I’m not worried at all 🥰

I’m a Sunday bride! We’re getting married on a Sunday evening with festivities going from 6 to 11. Nearly everyone is out of town. So far the Sunday date hasn’t been an issue, no one’s even questioned it Smiley smile

It also saved us a lot since Saturday had a fee plus a higher minimum spend.

We're having a Sunday wedding. The ceremony will be at 3:00pm. It helps that we don't have many out of town guests, too. My dad wasn't too thrilled about a Sunday wedding but after he saw the venue was cheaper for a Sunday he didn't mind 😂

We're doing a Sunday wedding! Sending out save the dates this week, our wedding is in October so it'll give our guests plenty of time to request Monday off. Everyone we've talked to is planning on making it a little vacation
