Sunday Wedding

Someone here did a Monday wedding. The venue I wanted was heck of expensive Fri-sin so if we had decided to do a full wedding I would have done it Thursday. Do it how you want and if people come great but if not then they don't. Most likely people won't stay late due to work the next day.

As a guest, I would prefer to attend a Friday wedding over a Sunday wedding. Many jobs allow their employees an easier time taking off on Fridays than Mondays or taking half days on Fridays. Would a Friday be an option?

In the end, the people who really want to be there will come regardless of when the wedding is. You may just have a few less guests on a Sunday than you would on a Saturday.

Hello. I’m doing a Sunday wedding as well in 2021. For the same reasons, our venue books fast and having a wedding Friday or Sunday was at least $50 more per person. We are giving our guests more than enough notice to know when our wedding is. I feel that if you’ve known when the wedding was for almost a year, you can plan accordingly when it comes to taking time off for the following Monday. If I were attending a Sunday wedding, I would make sure I planned ahead when it came to work. Just my opinion though lol.

Friday or Saturday, not Sunday lol.

I had a Sunday wedding and I had a lot of declines, but not because it was on a Sunday. There were many other factors for people. The wedding itself was wonderful and we ended by 8 so many people did go home afterward to get to work the next day.
