Never in a million years did I think I would be planning a summer wedding! I hate the heat! But thanks to the mess out there, we were forced to move our April 24th wedding to August 28th. We were very lucky, our vendors have been very helpful and accommodating, they are able to help us on the new day. My question is what are you planned summer brides doing? Obviously, I'm not changing bridesmaid dress colors (navy), but my original flowers were different shades or purples, navy, ivory, and different pinks. I love the idea of these colors together, I'd really hate to have to change that, too. I attached a picture of what I've shown my florist. Still pretty for a late summer wedding, yeah?

Hey!
We're getting married August 7th if all goes well with COVID19!
We are doing navy blue / marine as the main color with greenery, hints of blue and whites!
I think the purple is absolutely beautiful, and will look just fine!

I’d say keep your flowers. I’m sad because the flowers I want won’t even be in season by then. I wanted poppies. 😭 I had to move the wedding to September.

Aww, I am sorry to hear that! I know there is so much craziness going on, much worse than having to move our weddings, but when it's something you've planned on your whole life (not just after the proposal) it really, really sucks.
