FH finally went to look at suits today -___- he went to two places, one of them didn't have pricing because the person that handles the rentals wasn't in today so he's going back tomorrow. The second place said he has to leave a $500 deposit for a $150 rental. Is this typical??? That sounds super expensive to me. He said he's gonna checkout a suit store to check out prices on purchasing a suit instead, I told him I'd ask in here if that's a typical deposit amount.

Yeah, that's odd to me... It sketches me out that they specifically wanted cash. We had to put down $30, but we get $23 of it back because his tux is technically free (the $7 covers any damage that might occur and to clean it). The tuxes are $150 each. They didn't care how we put down the deposit as long as they got it.
