Suggestions on a wedding band for a halo ring.

Ana, on October 12, 2017 at 11:11 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

I'm having the hardest time find a wedding band for my ring within my budget. I don't want to pay more than $1000 being that my ring was so much already.

I have an emerald cut halo and I'm having 2 black diamond, black rhodium plated eternity bands made. Have you talked to a jeweler (that isn't a chain store)? They can show you examples of what they have it can make that will be in your budget.

Kinda hard to see, but I just did one band on the bottom. I wanted a band that was thick/interesting enough to be worn on its own, in case I don't want to wear my engagement ring with it in certain situations.

Mine was like $600, it's just white gold in a leaf pattern (we had a garden wedding) with little diamonds.

We got ours from a local independent jeweler. They'll be able to show you things in your price range, and can make custom designs as well.

I have a cushion cut with a halo. The band is micropave diamonds all around. My wedding band is the matching infinity band. It was 1500, but there are cheaper options out there.

Here's my ring and band. I think my band was about $900 from Shane Co. Have you tried on any bands with your ring? I tried a ton before I found one I liked because I didn't want a matching band.

My band was $700 after tax during a bridal sale! Love my band; I picked one that complements my e-ring instead of the matching one

PS: Agree with NOT going with a chain store!

I went with a simple white gold band, that has a diamond-cut pattern on it. With the lifetime warranty, I think it was around $350; we bought all our rings from Hannoush Jewelers. The picture is a little deceptive; when I'm wearing the two rings together, there is virtually no gap. The tiny bit of gap is from the straight edge of the wedding band up against the twisted shank in the engagement ring.

My halo sits high so I can just wear a diamond band right under it. My halo sits high like OG Alecia. Mine was about 350. Since we felt we spent so much on the engagement ring, I absolutely did not want a wedding band to that costed as much.

I like the micropave diamond bands. They go with practically everything. And are relatively inexpensive as long as the diamonds are micropave.
