Suggestions for keeping children busy at a wedding

Brides have a variety of reasons for why they will include children in their weddings. Some in fact are brides with children getting married for the first or a second time. While, people are entitled to have different feelings about whether they want children at their wedding or not, please don't decide what you think is the place for what someone else does at their wedding or not.

And a guest is a guest whether a child or an adult, and just as one helps to figure out accommodation, activities, and adults for their wedding why is it wrong to think that thought is put into preparing for younger guests.

Good point Lisa. A guest is a guest and just like how we take time to figure out the menu, drinks, desserts, and favors...we have to make sure that all of our guests are comfortable.

You want the parents of those kids you are using to enjoy the time. You want the kids to enjoy the time. You also can use those activity books and things to thank the children for doing a good job in the wedding party.

What is so wrong with that? It won't cost much and it's not like you have to do anything. Just put them out and let the kids have fun too.

My MOH had a ton of kids at her wedding and gave them boxes, hats, funny glasses, and mardi gras beads. They LOVED IT. The photo booth photos were also a hit

Im bringing my sons portable dvd player with movies and putting them in the bridal suit at our place. we cant do crayons bc the place is afraid of marks on walls. may do color wonder markers and paper.

I am doing a table with coloring paper, getting crayons, stickers and such. There is also some nice dough, similar to Play Doh that Crayola makes and doesn't stain or stick to clothing. I live across the river from Crayola and the stuff is really reasonable there, with lots of ideas. Also, we have a printer that makes pictures into coloring book pages, and we will have those at the table with pics of the kids themselves to color.

I'm buying coloring books and crayons for the three youngest kids that are going to be at my wedding Luckily, most of the under 18's are around 13 and 14, so I won't really have to worry about them being too crazy, I also thought about setting up some outside games for them, that way they aren't trapped inside
