Submitting an Article to Wedding Wire

Hi all,


I've been writing articles about my experiences as a disabled newlywed/bride and its relation to why my husband and I chose traditional vows (for better or worse, in sickness and health) as we've gone through our courtship stage and now newlywed life. I'm looking for an outlet for these writings. Please note I am not looking for a place to submit our wedding (we did ours on a shoe string). Does anyone know of an online or physical publisher who might be interested in my perspectives?

    Have you thought about starting your own blog? Maybe even a Facebook group or something.

    I do have a blog, and I've been published on the Mighty magazine, but I'm wondering about places that would take wedding-esque and disability-centered stories.

    Oh nice. Hopefully that will work out for you. I am sure that there is some way for you to contact a WW admin but other than that, I wouldn't have a clue on what other outlets you go try. Sorry if this is too personal but for your disability do you go to PT? Maybe you could ask your therapist or if you have a regular nurse that you see. If you have any local papers, contact one of the journalist and see if they would be willing to publish your story or do a story about you....help get your foot in the door for other places or readers that are interested. Sorry I am not much help, just tossing out ideas that you have probably already thought of or tried. Good luck!
