Stupid invite envelopes won't seal

Aauurrggh!!! So I'm trying to seal all the envelopes to send the invites before 5 today and as I start doing them (after numbering the rsvps and stuffing each envelope with everything that needs to be in there) the envelopes decide they want to do a half assed job of sealing. Aauurrggh!!! So I'm trying to seal all the envelopes to send the invites before 5 today and as I start doing them (after numbering the rsvps and stuffing each envelope with everything that needs to be in there) the envelopes decide they want to do a half assed job of sealing. Grrrr. So FH is running to Walmart since it's closer and cheaper and getting envelope moistener with adhesive so these stupid things can be sent out today and I don't have to worry about sending them anymore! I just want to check invites off my list already. People have been asking when they're going to be mailed.

The envelope moistener with adhesive worked really well. My FMIL just told me the other day that I wasn't supposed to send them out until 8 weeks out, but I had been told by our wedding coordinator to send them out 3 months in advanced and it didn't sound too weird to me since the guests from both sides of our families usually cop out of going to events (even something special and important like a wedding) because they supposedly didn't have enough notice.... idk. I got them to seal, stamped them and handed them to the postal worker. If it's true I shouldn't have sent them out this early there's literally nothing I can do about it now. I thought FMIL was just being bossy. Well now I know to warn others I guess :/ my bad

Glue stick. Really though, you need to sit on those invites for another month. They should go out NO SOONER than 8 weeks, preferably closer to 6 weeks.

    You're WAY too early.

ETA: I see you sent them anyway. Please tell me your RSVP date isn't any earlier than 3 weeks prior...please.

Expect to be calling a LOT of people for forgotten RSVPs.
