Storing wedding dress

It's good you got it cleaned, but to best preserve it if it might be worn again is to keep it out of hot/humid areas like an attic or moist areas like a basement or drafty closet. Probably wouldn't hurt to open the garment bag now and then over the years to let it air out every once in a while so it doesn't go stagnant in the bag.

If she would like to wear it years down the road, preserving it would really be best as that will protect it from yellowing and will be in great condition once it comes time for her wedding.

If you plan to keep it for your daughter to wear, I would suggest having it professionally preserved in order to protect it and keep it from yellowing.
