It's frustrating when you've typed something to respond and oh too bad it's hidden -_-

Courthouse wedding wasn't a "real wedding". Yes it was.

It's so frustrating not getting to see the end result if you have to get off WW to go do life... come back later and nothing! All advice has vanished into thin air -.-

I didn't see the post, but I can imagine the responses (there have been so many of those idiotic "we got married, but it was only at the courthouse. Now we're having our real wedding" posters). How do you explain to mature adults, those who earn annual salaries, that they can't get married twice to the same individual? Any individual who chooses a court house wedding, and then claims it wasn't real, has something missing. How fortunate for all of the "my dream wedding day, come hell or high water" brides can actually have the option to have one small legal wedding, and one big, gift giving re-enactment. Guess how many Americans are still raising their glasses to the court house wedding? Think about it.

I don't even know how to hide posts, so, unless I've ever done it by accident, you don't have to worry about me...LOL!

Wait, she didn't spiritually commit herself at her first wedding? I don't understand that. I feel spiritual commit is more about committing to religion or one's faith, but I'm a little confused on the logic, which leads me to say:

GEE, IF ONLY THE THREAD WASN'T HIDDEN, SO I COULD ACTUALLY READ IT AND LEARN SOMETHING FROM ANOTHER PERSON'S VIEWPOINT OR AT LEAST GAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING.

(Caps for emphasis because I hate the hiding feature so much.)

I think there's just this need for validation for a PPD.

My face when people hide threads. Especially, when I am following it or have taken the time to comment!

Jessica, I feel you. One of my dads previous weddings (now ex wife) was done at the courthouse. It was exactly like your experience. The whole time I was kind of looking around like...this is the

wedding??? There was nothing special or sweet about it..just two to three minutes and it was over. I've heard and seen pictures of women who made them lovely and special, but I understand the feeling behind those whose were not as thoughtful.

Is it better to rename the title, change the question to rude bishes and then delete all of your comments?! Lol. Oh my goodness.

Lol!! No hiding posts! People learn from each other's posts here, hiding them doesn't help anyone.

If I take the time to type out advice and then the thread gets hidden, I will not post on other threads started by OP.
