I'm seeing a lot of ppl on my fb having stock the bar parties. If you are thinking about doing one, please don't. Asking people for anything (money, alcohol) for your wedding is TACKY. That is all.

Omgoodness that's the first time of ever hearing about a stock bar party!!! People now have absolutely no class!!!!!! Yikes!!!!!

I'd just like to throw this out there for anyone being made to feel bad about having a stock the bar party for their wedding. I've just recently went to a dry wedding where they could not afford alcohol and cut it outo completely... there were a lot of complaints about there not being any and people making comments about bringing their own and some people even did bring their own and hiding it in coolers... so a stock the bar party to give people the chance to bring alcohol to drink that they like is not at all distasteful. I am getting married and I absolutely plan on having a stock the bar party!! If you think that's rude or distasteful then Oh well!!!! I've run it by all my friends and family and they all think it's a wonderful idea!
