Anyone have one? Pros? Cons? There is one on etsy I really want but doesn’t come in gold.

My rings are sterling silver and I’ve never had any problems with it! My ring is still as shiny as the day I got it!

They can tarnish if they come into contact with chemicals (happened immediately when I was putting chlorine into the pool), and silver is a softer metal, so it can bend. So be careful if working out or participating in sports where you use your hands. Mine has bent from holding horse back riding reins.

A friend of mine has one and really likes it. He works with his hands all day, and since it's lighter, he doesn't feel it half the time. It does tarnish however but he likes that. And no worries, there's cleaners for sterling silver.

My first set was silver (from a previous marriage). After about six years, they had noticeable wear and the engagement band started thinning. To the point that I couldn't wear it anymore. I definitely do not recommend for a ring you're going to wear every day, all day, unless it's a pretty thick sturdy ring. It takes a few years, but if you do anything with your hands at all, they'll get rough.
