Stay away from future spouse night before the day?

We stayed separately the night before our wedding. After the rehearsal we went to the hotel together and got two separate rooms. I didn’t see him again until I walked down the aisle. It worked out great both logistically and just adding to anticipation by not being with him the night before or having seen him.

I'm definitely planning on staying at my mom's tge night before our big day. I can't wait to see his eyes light up when he sees me 😍

We are renting out all of the cabins at the wedding venue and I plan on sleeping with my fiance the night before.. were going to wake up and do a little meditation ritual and have a private breakfast together on the balcony.. then hell head off to get ready with the guys and ill be getting ready with my girls.. we were originally planning on doing this and then not seeing eachother for the rest of the day until the wedding, but we found an amazing photographer and want photos inside glacier park so we're gonna skip that plan and do a first look session. I dont get the hype about not seeing eachother the day of. Is it just the fun/surprise factor? I cant even sleep by myself 🥺😂

Honestly it was just logistics of having a place for my HMUA to come to. Personally I planned on staying in our home together and then getting ready day of. Luckily after posting this I got in touch with my place and they will open for me on Sunday so I will just go there.
