Starry Night Wedding Theme

Has anyone done or thinking of doing a starry night theme for their wedding? What decorations did or will you use? We were thinking a classy 1950s prom starry night like theme.

I feel like if I had that theme id want to put stars everywhere aha like hanging stars, stars in the centerpieces ,etc.

Sounds very romantic! Have you checked out RentMyWedding.com? We rented uplights from them (easy, free shipping) and I remember seeing a “starry night” lighting option.

We were kind of low key on theme, but the things we did were all starry night related. Pretty much everything was blue, white or silver. Fairy lights in the centerpieces as stars, on blue table cloths. Moon and stars on the invites from Vistaprint, also made my own card box with moon/stars wrapping paper (Zazzle I think). More fairy lights on the flower girl's basket, moon and stars carved into the ring box. Fondant moon and stars placed on the buttercream frosting, with a moon silhouette cake topper. And we got super lucky that our venue had a blue ceiling in the ceremony space, with fairy lights wrapped in tulle.
