St. Pete Bridal Shower venue for small group.

I was looking for a BYOB place for my rehearsal dinner but couldn't find one. I was going to supply the booze.

When I was considering St Pete I think the city offered a couple of options. They're very affordable and a few offer byob

Try VFW halls. They usually allow you to BYOB or they charge, but are very inexpensive. You may also want to try community centers (like at apartment complexes) and libraries. Yeah, they rent them for weddings. If you do not have the funds for a wedding planner, then try calling the local "Bartending Schools." They know all sorts of places. Just ask for suggestions, don't let them think you are going to hire their students. Fun locations, ie bowling alleys usually allow you to buy drinks there. So cheap. Since you have such a few people, perhaps you'd like to rent a house for the week. These can be huge and much cheaper than a hotel. You can set up your own wedding there.
