I know when we were looking at reception locations a lot of places will allow outside catering, but only a few select caterers. I do know the Magic House does events and have heard that the fees aren’t too bad.

I know you want inside but if your open to outside Schorr Lake Winery in Waterloo, IL is $500 to rent for a saturday evening and you can bring in whatever catering you want. They also rent it for $50 during day for showers. Very pretty location. Very do it yourself location, so would have to have someone to help you do this on your big day. I also heard the Wyman Center in Eureka, MO is not too expensive, but not sure. Rustic setting. Has inside and outside spaces. Looks really scenic.
