Squeaky wedding shoes!

I have a pair of flats to wear for the wedding, as I never wear heals and wanted to be comfortable. I love them and have been trying to wear them around my place to break them in a bit. The problem is, they are made of leather and squeak when I walk!

I'm going to try wearing them around as much as I can, but do any of you have any suggestions on how to break them in faster or help get rid of the squeaky sound?

Although the idea of me walking down the aisle to meet my FH with squeaky shoes does sort of make me laugh!

If it's the sole that squeaks you can get rubber sticky things that act as grip and that will take away the sound. However if it's the actual shoe fabric that squeaks, unless they are real leather that will probably take a lot of breaking in to go away.

They are real leather (with silk and lace covering them). Hmm... looks like I may have to wear them around my flat from now til the wedding... boo.

Haha @Terry, no... sadly... not sparkly! I'm more of a lace fan than a bling fan. My mom will be pretty blinged out with sparkly shoes for the wedding though!

Thanks... I got them off shoesofprey.com. You basically design what you want and they make them. I have big feet and couldn't find anything that I liked in my size so went this way. I love them and the company couldn't have been more awesome to deal with, but the leather needs to be broken in.
