Sports bar for reception

Tori E., on February 14, 2010 at 7:50 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

We are getting married on a major league baseball homeplate and i was thinking of places to have our reception. We don't want to dance so I was thinking about sports bars. My Fh really likes dave and busters. Is that cheesy and very unclassy! I think it might be fun. Please be honest if it is cheesy and not appreciate a wedding reception please tell me.

I love dave and busters! I know its not a traditional site but your wedding isn't traditional either. I love that idea! It will deffinitly be something that people will talk about for a long time!

Does the ball field where you are getting married have a sports bar located in the complex? If so that might be fun! Remember that it is YOUR day. What one person may deem appropriate really doesn't matter because if its what you want then you get it!! for one day anyway! LOL! You could always do dave and busters as an after party!

I love the idea of a sports bar. I think it is really cute and it sounds like it really goes with your ceremony. I would check the ballpark where you are getting married. A lot of times they have a sports bar area for just this sort of thing. Smiley smile
