Spent Money Regrets?

Following!

This isn't spent money, but rather wishing we spent more on an officiant! I regret asking my dad to officiate us! He's way more religious than we thought and he keeps being fussy about things we want different in our ceremony. And it has created awkward tension in our relationship. I wish we didn't ask him so soon, because now it would hurt his feelings and be disrespectful to his time if we were to hire a professional.

Following. We did digital STDs and I loved them- even had a space for guests to enter their address and the ability to message all invitees. Now I'm even wondering if paper invites are worth it- I think they are but it's hard to spend $$& on paper that goes in the trash. Still debating a videographer.....

We are still on the fence about things like cake, STD's and flowers! I'd love to be able to put that money toward a videographer instead.

OOT guest bags, table favors( altho everybody ate them!) STDs, added a few guests that didn't receive one and regretted sending several that obviously would need an invite,1800 on a DOC who could have done it for half that.

I regret buying all those wooden signs "cheers" "sit wherever your heart desires" because I didn't even end up using any and I doubt anyone would even miss them! And of course the failed DIYs!

Big picture: I wish we would have blown it on a kick ass elopement.

Smaller picture...Probably the cake. We should have gone with a Sam's cake or something. Cake is cake and even bad cake is still pretty damn good.
