Spanx vs. Assets

I have never used them personally. One of my BM had spanx on during their fittings. The lady at DB said hey we have Assets here but they are not nearly as good as the spanks your wearing. She was like they are from the same person and she was like we know. So if the lady that is trying to sell assets and says spanx are better then I would take her would for it and say spanx are better. Hope this helps!

I bought this type of product from Target. I couldn't tell you who made them, I think there are a lot of this type of thing out there. But it didn't do a whole lot. I'm pretty much thin as it is, it kind of gave my tummy a smooth look. Didn't necessarily suck me in. It looked weird to me in tight shirts, I only wore it once or twice.

I swear by undergarments like these, been wearing them since I was about 12! And personally I dont like the Spanx brand. The only reason they became so well known is because Oprah talked about them. They don't offer much more support than regular control top pantyhose. I can't tell you the specific brand names of my favorite ones cause they haven't had the tags for a quite a while, LOL but I agree with Potters, check out Target and Walmart, they have fantastic selections of shape wear that is so much cheaper and to me, better

OMG yes my mother has been wanting the Spanx brand forever now but, they have been way too costly for her. If only she had never of watched Oprah...lol

I've used Spanx and Assets and I think the cheaper version is just as good! The only thing is that they don't have the tank tops and stuff for the Assets brand.

I too started wearing Spanx when I saw them on QVC. A couple of years ago I saw the same maker of Spanx on the Asset brand @ Target! So I purchased them to try & they work just as well to me. I love them & they are only $10!

I don't like spanx. They are too costly and don't provide much smooth coverage. IMHO you'd do just as well with control tops or go to JC Penneys and find a comfortable body shaper
