Spaghetti Strap Dress for a Fall Wedding

Blair, on December 4, 2019 at 2:17 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12

So after two months of looking I finally found a dress I love. For months I had been looking for cap sleeve or a long sleeve dress but " the one" ended up being spaghetti strap. My wedding is in the fall and I'm afraid the dress looks too summery

It's gorgeous. There's no "seasonal" wedding rules. I've been to multiple winter weddings and none of the brides wore sleeves (all sleeveless or strapless). That being said if you are outside and it's going to be cold just make sure you are prepared for that or have a shawl etc. But no, it doesn't look too summery.

Everything is inside. Thanks for your response that make me feel better.

I agree with PP! I've seen a bride wear a long-sleeve dress for her May wedding and thought nothing other than how beautiful it was Smiley smile

I think it looks elegant and would go well for a fall wedding. Its beautiful. Besides if it's pictures that you want don't worry about matching it to the season in my opinion. I've seen women wear long sleeve dresses and it's either spring or summer when it gets a little hot hahaha

I don't really think there are seasonal looks when it comes to wedding dresses! I agree with PPs go for it!

I love it but if its inside than you will be fine. Now if you want to add sleeves or a lil arm to it ask the store if its possible to be added but if not its fine you will still look gorgeous..

It’s beautiful. Don’t worry about the time of year. Since you will be inside you will be fine.

Ahh! It's gorgeous. I'm in a very similar position and have knitted myself a shawl in case I get cold

I think this is totally fine for a fall wedding! My wearing a strapless mermaid gown during the wintertime. Our wedding will be inside so I'm not worried about the cold factor too much. I am wearing a faux fur stole for some pictures outside, though!

I'm having an outdoor wedding in November with spaghetti straps. I got all my girls and myself and pashmina to wrap themselves up in if they so choose.
