When planning our special day my husband and I immediately knew we wanted to have a kids free wedding for several reasons. 1) On both sides of our family there are a lot of children and we didn't want the trouble of chosing. 2) Our venue charges about $50 per child and allowing children would have made us go over our budget. 3) Although kids can make for some beautiful wedding moments, they are also very unpredictable.

Will you allow children at your wedding? Why or why not?

Not too concerned because if their ages, they should be able to sit quietly. I am only concerned that they will try to let them stay for the reception and I'll be forced to be the bad guy.

Any of my quests who have children will absolutely be aloud to bring them. Most of them do not have young children. And the ones that do, I am not at all concerned about how they’ll behave at the ceremony.

I am allowing children. 4 are in my wedding and my venue doesn't charge extra for children.

Yes! Reception will be at a resort so as long as our guests pre- register and provide payment, entertainment and dinner will be provided!

No not to attend our reception! The resort has a charge for babysitting use.

We initially said a kid free wedding but we have decided to make exceptions for people traveling in to be able to bring their kids if they don't have sitters, or if they wanted to travel with their kids...

Were allowing kids but so far it sounds like our in town guests will come without. Which after the projected count of 30 kids for a 110 person wedding I'll be so glad to come under our count or invite more adults.

We have children so of course they will be there and apart of our wedding party. We both have a lot of children on both sides of our families so we decided to only have our children and our six nieces and nephews. We would love to see all of the children in the family dance the night away with us but it does become costly and I agree with the others that most parents love to use wedding invites as a date night. Either way it is totally your decision and your family should understand either way.
