How many songs do i typically need for a cermony? Bonus if you name a few for each part i need a song for. Also what do i walk down the isle to? I was thinking ryan darling I choose you but I'm not sure. Might use that for my unity sand cermony.

I am having 1 for the seating of the mothers/bridal processional, 1 for bride's processional, and 1 for the recessional. I am doing a sand ceremony, but never thought of doing a song during it.

We are not having a wedding party but we are acting as if we are with the songs. There will be four songs for the ceremony: a pre-ceremony song to set the scene, a song for my groom to take his place at the altar, my song to walk down the aisle, and of course our recessional song. Still deciding on what those songs will be.

We're having 3: In the Aeroplane Over the Sea (Neutral Milk Hotel) for family seating and the bridal party (we only have BM and MOH).

First Day of My Life (Bright Eyes) for our flower girl and then us walking down the aisle (we are walking in together)

then a recessional but we haven't picked one we both like yet. Just tonight he shot down my suggestion of Joy to the World.

(ETA I think we just decided on Birdhouse in your Soul by TMBG)

We are just having two. I don’t need my own song to walk down the aisle and FH and I are walking down together.

Processional: how does a moment last forever by Celion Dion from Beauty and the Beast Live Action

Recessional: something that I want by Grace Potter from Tangled

I'm trying to decide on the song for my bridal party. I chose the song for when we walk back up the aisle as husband and wife. Since our theme is Grease, I want the song We Go Together to play.

I will be having 4 songs:

    1. Groomsmen & Groom escorting parents/grandparents: "I turn to you"-Christina Aquilera

    2. Bridesmaids entrance: "Drops of Jupiter"

    3. bride entrance: "I Swear"-George Strait

    4. exit: "From this Moment"-duet

Plus there will be a mix playing before but usually that is not a specifically picked thing.

We are only having 2 songs, one for processional and one for recessional but some like to have different song just for the bride or a song if there will be some sort of unity ceremony like sand or a candle. It's completely up to you how many songs you would like in your ceremony.

Our songs are "Me and You" by Kenny Chesney for processional and "L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole for recessional.

Love You True by Lydia Luce

    Parents processional:

Nothing Else Matters cover by Brooklyn Duo

    Wedding Party processional:

    undecided

    My entrance:

Have you thought about your other songs during the reception? Dances, cake cutting, exit?

Depends. some people choose 4 songs; a song for the seating of parents/grandparents, bridal party, bride processional, and then recessional. Other people choose 3 songs; one song for the seating and bridal party processional, bride processional, and then recessional. Smiley smile Whatever works (and is important to you) Smiley smile

I chose 4 and made a playlist for when the guests are arriving to set the mood. Smiley tongue

We are only doing two songs: for the processional (including me), Thank You by Led Zeppelin. For the recessional, Signed, Sealed Delivered, I'm Yours by Stevie Wonder.

Before the ceremony starts, while guests are arriving, there will be a selection of classical pieces playing quietly. Claire de Lune, Canon in D, Bach Cello Concerto in G Major, etc.
