I am having a good friend of mine sing "Never Alone" by Lady Antebellum during the ceremony. The first time I heard it I knew it was going to be in my wedding! Smiley smile

I decided not to use "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw or "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker because they'd make me lose it!

The first is because I never was my Dad's baby girl and I don't need to be reminded of that on my wedding day.. and the second was the song my FH wanted to dance with his Mom to.. she passed in June so, playing it would crush us both.

    The other one would be

You're Where I Belong by Trisha Yearwood. I love this song. We will be either be playing it during the ceremony or as our first dance. Here is the youtube link.

I like the following songs: A moment like this by Kelly Clarkson; from this moment by Shania Twain. For the father(s) daughter dance: Isn't she lovely by Stevie Wonder, and You are so beautiful by Ray Charles.

Well, certainly not our first dance that we'll tango to.

I'll be dancing with my birthfather at the same time as my FH dances with his mother (I'm adopted, but my dad was killed three years ago). I don't want to make my mother cry at the wedding more than she will over my dad not being there, but I would love to do this song for us to dance to before going to a faster song. Let's ignore the fact it is a love song, but it also has imagery for a child growing up and watching them start their own life, not to mention the last few lines relate to my dad. (I'll just have to find a good quality copy, this one is really low)
