Song for brother/sister dance in place of father/daughter

Hello everyone, i need some advice. My father passed away 4 years ago so i am having my two brothers walk me down the isle. My FH mother passed away 2 months ago. I am trying to figure out how to handle the dance i am supposed to have with my father and my FH dance with his mother. Any advice would be greatly approicated.

Hi Stacy, I am sorry to hear about your FH’s mother and your father passing. My FH and I are skipping the father-daughter dance and mother-son dance so that is an option if you hadn’t considered that!

I’m really sorry to hear about your father passing, and also your FH’s mother.

As Sophie suggested, you can totally skip these dances if you wish. There is no rule saying that you have to have them a part of the reception. Do you think you and your FH would be more comfortable doing this?

I agree with the PP suggestions.
You could also maybe share the dance with your brothers (perhaps do a little slide show of pictures of your father with you and your siblings).
My DH had a daughter from his first marriage and we have a daughter together as well - instead of a mother/son dance he did a father/daughter dance with the girls - if that is an option for you-. Or your FH could dance with a sibling or another close family member.
