Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue

Old-I'm struggling with too

New-I guess my dress. And everything else I'm wearing

Borrowed-the Veil from my aunt/maid of honor

Blue- lol the entire wedding

Old- Hanky from my great grandma, that my mom now has

New- My dress, jewelry

Borrowed- My veil (my mother's) my bracelets (pearls from MIL and FH aunt)

Blue- My mom is hand stitching our wedding date on the inside of my dress with blue string

Old- used one of my bridesmaid's grandmother's crochet hook to get me into the dress. My bridesmaid and I have been best friends since we were babies and her grandmother was really special to me!

New- My jewelry from my dad

Blue- Kate Spade bridal blue purse

Borrowed- Technically the crochet hook and the Kate Spade were both borrowed but I also had a borrowed bracelet from my MIL.

Old/Borrowed: a pair of amethyst earrings my FMIL is letting me borrow

New: Uh, everything else

Blue: I think I'm going to go with a blue garter belt (not doing a toss, it will be just for me and FI *wink wink*)

Depending on the dress - going shopping for it in a few weeks! - I might also use a string of pearls that my FMIL gave me as my "old", but I will have to see how it looks with the dress I pick out.

I also joke that FI is going to be my "old", because he's 13 years older than me, and I often tease him about his age. Hehe.

Old: A ring thats my mother gave me on my first day of kindergarten. Im going to add it to my bouquet.

New: my dress

Borrowed: no clue

Blue: I am going to paint the bottom of my shoes blue

Old: Crystal necklace from my great grandmother

New: Jimmy Choo shoes

Borrowed: Bracelet and/or earrings from best friend/bridesmaid

Blue: Garter hand made by family friend

Old: I think my grandmother's handkerchief. It has a "P" embroidered into it. Guess it's been passed through the family. I got it when she passed away.

New: My dress, jewelry, shoes, garter set, etc.

Borrowed: I have no freaking clue LOL..... thinking of taking a chunk of my mom's wedding gown and sewing it into mine (under the skirt or inside somewhere)

Blue: I have decals for the bottom of my shoe that are blue but IDK if I am going to use them or try to find something else.

Old - my cowboy boots

New - my dress

Borrowed - white beaded clutch from my aunt

Blue - my new monogram on my garter

Old-Going to talk to my grandmother and see if she has one of my grandpa's handkerchief's to wrap my bouquet in

New- my dress

Blue-Getting a blue label with our names and wedding date sewn into my dress and MAYBE blue shoes

Borrowed- No clue yet

Also a sixpence for my shoe, either my uncle is going to bring one back from London for me or I will get one made into an ankle bracelet off Etsy

Something Old = ME..hehe. Actually my something old is my mom's beaded evening bag that she has had since her 20s, if she can find it

Something New = pretty much the whole wedding outfit

Something borrowed = my mom's white/yellow gold drop earrings

Something blue = my shoes

Old: My pearl necklace that was my Great-Great Aunt's. My grandmother gave it to my mother to give to me but she wouldn't let me wear it until my wedding. Also a ring that was the same Aunts. My grandmother wanted me to use it as an engagement ring, but FH wanted to pick one out himself.

New: Other jewelry

Borrowed: I have no clue yet

Blue: Garter belt

Old: my grandma (who has passed) pearl clutch and a bible from scandinavia to hold our rings

New: my dress and shoes and veil

Borrowed: my great grandma's clip on earrings (yea they are pretty awesome

Blue: still deciding, maybe doing something on my shoes

Honestly, I have no idea yet. Will need to think about this one.

It's great to see how everyone is so unique! Loving all the ideas!

Old: My mom's ring that I always wear.

New: My dress!

Borrowed: This was the toughest for me because I already had the jewelry that I wanted. I borrowed a a bobby pin from my MOH (and yes, I gave it back!).

Blue: My garter and shoes.

Old: the earrings FH gave me for our last anniversary as bf/gf/fiances, the next anniversary will be our wedding day

New: my dress i suppose

Borrowed: TBD

Blue: the soles of my pour la victore bridal shoes are blue

Old: I'm wearing my great great grandmothers pearl necklace.

New: My dress!

Borrowed: The pearl necklace I'm wearing actually belongs to my sister.

Blue: Either will be on my garter or shoes, still undecided!

We're skipping these in the traditional sense and doing them as our signature drinks instead.

Old: My engagement ring! It's from the 1920's

New: My dress!

Something borrowed: This is a tough one. My MOH said I can borrow her pearls, but I don't know if I want to wear them yet

Something blue: My undergarments will probably be blue

Borrowed: My Nana's pearls

Blue: An old shirt sewn onto my dress that was my Papa's who recently passed away.
