Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue

Old: my moms veil

New: my dress

Borrowed: not sure yet

Blue: garter belt or jewelry. Tbd

New: still not sure

old: my great grandmothers pearls

blue: my mom made my garter with her wedding dress and it has blue in it

borrowed: not sure yet

Old: Shoes. Have two pairs, bought them at a second hand store for $27 total, not too bad.

New: Dress! Can't wait until my second fitting

Borrowed: Veil- borrowing it from a friend. Not sure if she'll be able to make my wedding because she has a baby due four days before my wedding, but she's letting me borrow her veil.

Blue: Shoes. I have a pair of blue shoes for the ceremony, and a really comfortable pair of black&white heels for the reception. The shoes are the same height too, so I won't have to worry about that being an issue.

Old: My (late) grandfather's hanky wrapped under my bouquet

New: Take your pick. My dress, shoes, whatever.

Borrowed: Borrowed usually comes at the 11th hour, so whatever.

Blue: My underwear if they don't show through my dress. For the everyone knows version, I just ordered a Mrs. Lastname decal for my shoes.

Ugh I keep forgetting about this! Love the ideas though!

I think I'm the only person who probably isn't concerned with doing this. Oh well!

Old: Shoes and charm braclet

New: Dress, Veil and necklace

Borrowed: earrings from my mom

Blue: garter and underwear

Old: my earrings that FH got me for our 2nd anniversary

New: my dress

Borrowed: a hanky. not sure from whom yet hopefully my grandma who is in the hospital and can't make it

Blue: my undies! there are enough layers to my dress that there is no way those puppies are showing through. but I will try them on at my fitting next week

Also my BM got me a sixpence for my shoe from etsy that clips onto my shoe

Old: not sure yet... I guess I better get on it.

New: Dress

Borrowed: My mom's tennis bracelet

Blue: my toe nail polish

Old - wrapping my bouquet with piece of my mom's wedding dress

New - earrings and bracelet from FH

Borrowed - my grandma's wedding ring. wearing it on my right hand. it was given to my mom when my grandmother passed away

Blue - shoes and my ring

Old: my ceremony shoes. I bought them way before my FH and I were even dating

New: Dress, reception shoes, jewelry etc.

Blue: "I DO" crystals on the bottom of my shoes and one of the stones in the first ring FH bought me (I plan to wear it on my right hand.)

Borrowed: nothing yet......

No clue but I'm gonna finish the rhyme and have 6 pence in my shoe, my FH is British so it seems fitting

Old- my dad's wedding band. He passed away when I was 3 and on my 15th birthday my mom had his band sized down to fit my ring finger (though I wear it on my right hand)

New- my dress and veil

Borrowed- my best friend's shoes that she wore at her wedding.

Blue- my garter

Old: my necklace that was my mother's and grandmother's. Both were married wearing the necklace.

New: A lot of things! Dress, shoes, etc.

Borrowed: Possibly FH's fraternity pin if he doesn't want to wear it. If not then perhaps one of my sorority sisters' pins on my bouquet because my pin will already be in use.

Blue: Either garter or toenail polish. Still not 100% sure.

Six pence: FH collects pennies so he is choosing one for me!

My old: My grandmother's pearl necklace...

New: my dress and boots

Borrowed: I guess it's the pearl necklace

Blue: I have the same hair comb !!! And my boots

Old- my mom and grandma's rings, and possible my mother's viel, if not too yellowed

New- dress

Blue- wedding is dark blue, and I have an old hankie with blue roses on it.

New: My dress and veil I guess

Blue: Yankees Garter (IT's his favorite team)

Blue: My engagement ring. The stone is a blue diamond.

Old: my engagement ring. It was FH mother's engagement/wedding ring to his late father.

New: wedding dress, veil, jewelry, etc.

Blue: blue hydrangea in my bouquet to honor my late grandmother. It was one of her favorite flowers.
