And what about the next line a silver sixpence in your shoe, any idea where to find one of those?

Here's my idea for something blue. I'm having our wedding date stitched to the bottom of my dress.

So far, I only have something blue: my wedding shoes. I'd love to see what everyone else has.

I totally didn't think of this one until the last minute. I knew my dress could be new, but didn't think of the rest until the week before. Original plan was to kidnap someone from a nursing home, paint them blue and have them follow me around. Old, borrowed AND blue!

Instead I was my something old, my sapphire e-ring was my blue, and one of my BMs loaned me a bracelet.

Old - the diamond in my engagement ring is 150 years old

    New - my dress

Borrowed - MOH bustier and slip from her wedding

Blue - my engagement ring - the diamond is flanked by sapphires

I googled sixpence and it pulled up a bunch of sites, here is one of them

I have blue stickers for the bottom of my shoes that say "I do."

I don't have anything else yet but I do plan on incorporating it into our day. I'll probably skip the six pence part.

Well I'm not sure yet, I have a lot of time. But if I go with my brooch bouquet idea, I will probably use some old brooches of my granny's, so that will be old. Everything else I don't know yet.

Something blue- my e ring is a sapphire, something old/ borrowed- im borrowing my grandmothers ring from mom and my seamstress is going to stitch a pocket on the inside of my dress for it. Something new- my shoes. not doing the sixpence thing but if you cant find them, a penny works as well

Most people use a penny in their shoe.

    Old: My gram's wedding band

    New: My dress

    Borrowed: Pearls from my mom

Blue: the words "I do" in blue on my shoes and a ribbon in the bustle of my dress

I haven't really thought too closely on this yet.
