Something old, new, borrowed, blue and sixpence in her shoe

How many ladies are sticking to this tradition? My new is my dress, my old is a charm from my late grandmother's necklace. Still working on the borrowed, blue and sixpence

I have a sixpence but I think I'll put it on the bouquet instead of in my shoe. My something blue will either be my glasses or my shoes, something new could be literally anything lol. Something borrowed and something old I'm still missing. I feel it's wrong to ask people so I'm just waiting for it to be volunteered.

New is my dress, blue is my garter, and old is something of my mom who passed away will be in my bouquet. Still trying to figure out borrowed.

New is dress, old is my engagement ring- it's FH grandmothers, borrowed is my great grandmothers handkerchief that my grandmother and mother used in their weddings. Blue is the sides of my boat shoes. And Nonna's sending my sixpence!

    Thanks @Katherine! I'll do that!

I think a penny is fine. Sixpence don't even exist anymore.

Dress is new. Nana's ring is old and also going to wear FH grandmas ring which is my borrowed from FMIL. Blue has to be undies since my garter will be green and gold (go A's!) and of course the penny.

I've never heard of the sixpence. My new is my dress, I'm borrowing my grandma's bracelet from my mom so technically it's old too. My blue will be the jewels in my garter and possibly my shoes.

I'm wearing a pair of my grandmother's earrings so that's my "old." My dress is new and my shoes are blue. I'm stuck on what I could borrow...I'm thinking of doing bouquet charms of my grandparents-I could maybe borrow those pictures. I do have some of my grandmother's handkerchiefs and her wedding gloves that I plan to use somehow...but she passed away a few months ago so they're not exactly "borrowed."

    Old and borrowed: mom's pearls

    New: dress, all other jewelry

Blue: once upon a time stickers on my shoes!

And a penny from Nonna! (Because she's the best!)

New is my dress, old is a handkerchief my great-great-great-grandmother stitched, my borrowed is my mom's pearls and my blue are my shoes. I guess I'll just put a penny in my shoe.

Something old is a charm from my grandfather, something new is my dress/veil, something borrowed is my cousins tiara and something blue is my garter. And I just put a penny in my shoebox so I don't lose it.

New is dress and veil. Old is a piece of my mom's dress sewn under my hem, part of her veil and my great-grandfathers wedding bow tie (100 yrs old!) wrapping my bouquet. Blue is my garter. I believe my mom has a sixpence for me. Which may also be my borrowed. But I'm still pretty stuck on borrowed. My cousin gave her jewelry but it doesn't quite match my dress. She does have some hair accessories I may borrow instead. Smiley smile
