Snapchat filter at a wedding - is it cool?

I went to a wedding in November and the bride had done this. People there used it, I didn't since I don't personally use Snapchat. If your guest use Snapchat regularly and you really want it I'd say go for it even though it's not a necessity.

You can buy a design off Etsy and then upload it to the Snapchat website with location details. All in all usually costs about $30.

I think it's cool, and if your guests use Snapchat it's worth it. I've heard you can also get all the pics that people took, so look into that too!

I asked the same thing a couple of months back and had positive reviews from those who used it. You can also do a free filter through the Snapchat website.

I just uploaded a few on Snapchat today. I've been to a few weddings and they were huge hits.

Our friends did it and it was really cute. They had 3 which I thought was overkill. But they were fun

I think its cool, but it definitely depends on your crowd. Its not tacky, but if people don't use snapchat or don't know its there, then its a waste!

We used one and our guests loved it! It was inexpensive, we purchased on etsy for $10 and cost $10 total for the whole day at both the church for getting ready and our reception. 2pm-midnight.

Snapchat has pre-made designs that you can personalize if you don't want to spend the money on having someone on Etsy make it for you. Reason being you also have to pay for the geofilter location and time (minimum of $5). I plan on using the geofilter for my wedding, I think it's cute and a lot of my family and friends use snapchat.

I think that anyone who would think it's strange wouldn't even see it...because they wouldn't be on Snapchat! I think it's cool, and any Snapchat user who doesn't want to use the filter doesn't have to.
