Do you have a venue yet? How big is your guest list? And whats your budget?

    Guestlist. budget. venue/caterer. officiant.

Then you can start adding things you want. DJ, photographer, florist, etc.

We planned our wedding in 10.5 weeks and it came together beautifully. Location and budget would help a lot to answer your questions.

Here are our pics if you want to get ideas...

    Budget. guest list. venue.

Honestly all you need is you, FH/FW and an officiant. Why so urgent?

Best tip: prioritise what's most important to you. We firmed up church > venue > photographer right away first because those were our top wants, and with the time left now we're working our way down the list of our nice-to-haves (flowers > decor > guestbook > etc) until we run out of time/budget.

Budget & guest list first. Figure those out and then you can figure out your venue, catering, and everything else. Remember that the day is about you marrying the love of your life. You could do that at a court house. Everything else is extra. Don't let it stress you out or feel overwhelming. You'll get through it and your wedding will be beautiful.

Thanks everyone for your input. It is very helpful! Budget, guest list, venue and then everything else. That really simplifies it into great priorities.

    Where are you?

You can absolutely rent a little restaurant, find an officiant, get your license a dress and be married.

David's Bridal is having on of their sales right now. I think you could easily walk out of the store with a dress at a great price. Goes til the 24th I think.

I helped a friend do exactly that last year (7 weeks to plan and she got married 5/3). I think the first things you need to do is find a venue, officiant and a dress. You said you wanted an inexpensive wedding, What do you think is inexpensive?

I would suggest getting the venue and date ASAP. Invites typically go out 6-8 weeks prior.
