Arianna
Dedicated November 2020

Small reception

We’ve decided to cancel our April 2021 wedding and move a small wedding weekend up to November 2020. I’m so excited as we were supposed to have a 2 year engagement and now we can get married sooner as our wedding will be drastically cut down! We decided to rent a lake house retreat with enough lodging for our 30ish guests (for anyone that’s comfortable staying there). For all the couples that have cut back to a small wedding, are you having traditional catering? Any tips for replanning a much smaller wedding? Thanks in advance!

That's awesome! We had our food catered by a local soul food restaurant for $360 . And bought beer and wine from our local liquor store. To serve food I got utensils from dollar tree. Dollar tree and Amazon helped me out a lot.

I didn’t even think about ordering utensils off of amazon or dollar tree! Thank you!

I love that you're so excited about your new plans Arianna! ❤️ I think your intimate wedding will be awesome, and getting married sooner is also a huge plus!

Here are a few great posts I've seen recently with tips and advice on small wedding celebrations - they're definitely worth checking out: How much was your small wedding or elopement?, Is anyone else feeling this way?, and Small wedding.
