will consist of my sister for MOH, my FH brother for BM and my daughter and two nieces as flower girls. Out transportation will also be a horse-drawn carriage. So like I said you can have "everything you want."

Thats how I was thinking @Lauren B. I wanted a full spread (food) and servers, chandeliers, chocolate dipped strawberries and ice sculpture. So why should I sacrifice on my day just to invite some people I can take or leave. Ijs

We're also having a garden-theme under a gazebo and I wanted to enjoy each and every person there and show my appreciation for them attending plus I rather the nice ring and us enjoy our day rather than being frustrated and irritated on that day.

I forgot its also a black-tie affair so all in attendance must have on black. We will be wearing all white. So it's much easier to get ppl on accord with a few. Because I want lovely pictures not a bunch of hodge podge, different colors and ect.

Small for sure. I wanted to keep it under 50, but with FH's Italian and Polish family made that impossible so now we're at 70. Still not too bad.

We are having an average size with 150 people. Ideally, i would like to invite 175, but our venue max is 150 Smiley sad

Honestly, I can't imagine having a wedding without all my family (yes distant relatives as well) and close friends, and thats exactly what it will be. Invited 166, but will probably be 120ish.... mostly family.

What I want is to have everyone celebrate with us, I don't need a limo, horse drawn carriage personally. I'm perfectly fine with leaving the venue in our rental compact car.... thats what both FH and I drive... so why go extra big on the wedding? It's a 7 mile drive... Of course since we are renting some can say we can just rent a luxurious car, and it was a thought...but i just dont think its really worth it...

Too each her own @Julie, in all honesty who nowadays know a 100 ppl really not know of. So I prefer close family some prefer a village, some

want to show out/off I want want to enjoy those who are near to me. If yyou leave all the ppl off who y know yyou dont deal with anyway you can have a carriage ride too.

For me, small is better, because I have a few good friends.

I thought we were having a small wedding, now I see we're having a tiny wedding! 30-50 people tops, on a sunday afternoon. I'd love to have the whole huge party with 100+ people, but financially we cannot support that right now. However, I feel like with how small our wedding is, it will be less stressful.

We really wanted a small wedding (no more than 75) but with immediate family and close friends, our guest list is just under 300.

I wanted a big wedding initially- after planning I wish we would have kept it small, 50 people max. But now we have a venue with 125 min and a guest list of 150- budgeting for 140 people.

They all sound wonderful and I guess some are more family oriented and some are for being less stressed. But as long as it's for the right reasons and that's how you prefer to enjoy your day. Because we've all seen that one bride who couldn't cope with the pressure. And some are a little livelier than others but thats fine that's what makes us all unique. It's yyour day do what satisfies you. Not everyone else.

We did family only, but we both have very large families (I am 1 of 5 & he is 1 of 6), so our guest list came out to be 200 invited... TBH I really hope only like 50 people show up. It will help costs & plus I want to really enjoy the company, & a lot of my family (well all but 10 members live outside of GA) & so I'm not expecting a big return on my side. I feel like 50 would be much more intimate, plus our outdoor venue has seating for about 50 on these adorable rustic benches, & while we can easily fit 200 in the ceremony space, we have to bring additional chair = extra work!
