Small, Medium, Large or SUPERSIZED

my wedding was considered huge here at 110ppl.

Supersized! We've got 300 on the guest list but I know quite a few that won't show. I'm guessing the final count will be around 250. I think that isn't over the top for a Southern wedding though.

Mine is "small" too, about 100 people. People say thats a "good size wedding" whatever that means lol. To be big is like 400 guests!

I'm guessing mine would be considered normal, which is probably considered "large" in some parts of the country. We're having roughly 100 guests. To me, it's perfect. All my family and FH's family, and MY best friends will be there. FH's friends are his 7 siblings, so he's good with that. Can't wait for all those crazy people in one place.

I think weddings have scaled down compared to weddings in the past. To me anything under 50 is small, 50 to 150 is medium, 150 to 250 is large and anything over 250 is super sized . I had 96 show.

We're probably only going to have 20 people at our wedding but it's also a destination wedding so that says a lot. Haha...

Large… inviting 230 hoping only 200 will RSVP (sad to say I hope people aren't able to come but I know some will no)

OMG Mrs. Ekstrom!!! I AM THINKING THE SAME THING!! LMAO I didn't want to say it and people be like what….But I am hoping that some people are like ohh I can't make it…in my mind I'll be like hess money saved

So at first I thought mine is borderline between large and super sized but now I think it's just plain super sized lol. We are inviting ~400 with a minimum of 350. Mind you, we still struggle with our guest list and not being able to invite everyone just like all of you!

370 invited, assuming only around 200 will come. We know of quite a few who won't come.

We invited approx. 340 guests and ended up with 288, and I was actually disappointed with some of the declines. We both have large families, but had I known we would've had so many declines, we would've invited more people that were a little hurt we didn't invite them ... people from our church family and some close business associates of my parents. But we were so thankful for all those who did attend, that it ended up seeming like the perfect number.

Feels like tiny compared to these numbers! We're inviting 60. Hope that most show up.

Ours is large with a guest list of ~370. I've been to some Greek and Armenian weddings that were 500 plus.

We invited 220 and 200 are coming so I guess it's large

I feel like ours is small, because we're only inviting immediate family (siblings, aunts/uncles/cousins...we both have small families) and our business team. Our business team is more people and we're closer to many of them than our families In reality it's probably really more "medium." Right now there are 139 on the guest list, thinking we'll end up around 100.

Well I guess mine wedding guest list is super sized. We have over 500 people invited to the wedding. But we are doing a 2 part reception...well we are having a sit down reception for family (older family and close friends) that wouldn't want party and drink all night with us and then we are having an after party for the party crowd. FH has an extremely large family, his mom has 5 brothers and they all have multiple kids and his dad has 18 brothers and sister and they all have multiple kids. So we are having a SUPER SIZED WEDDING. Good thing our parents are paying for it.

I was at a big, Catholic wedding with 400 guests at the reception - it felt like we were entering a stadium for a football game. It was just too much.

I hope we have no more than 100 show up, FH thinks we will invite about 130 but to me that is too many.

We're inviting 130 but a lot of those are out of town so we're only expecting 100ish.

So far we sent out 101 STDs which means we invited 201 people. FH wants to stay around 100... I think there will be more like 125/150. I guess our wedding will be medium =)

I'm with KimS, I guess I'm having a tiny wedding as well with around 60 people. Out of that only four are friends, rest is all family!
