Small Ceremony Help!

Jessica, on March 20, 2020 at 10:06 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 3
Like many couples right now, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our April 11th wedding until October. We have decided to still get married on our original date next month and are doing a small ceremony with immediate family and a few bridal party members. Our Officiant suggested using a local beach around us, but we are still figuring out location logistics.

I'm making this post because I'm hoping to get different ideas for an alternate entrance. One of my favorite parts of weddings is the bride being walked down the aisle. I would like to save this special moment for the big wedding in the fall as I'd like to only do it once. Any suggestions on how to "enter" a small, intimate wedding? I'd love to hear any other ideas if you're also doing a small ceremony! Thanks in advance and good luck to all other couples who are dealing with wedding changes during this time as well ❤️

Maybe you and your FH can walk in together with your family following you!

We had a small legal ceremony before our big wedding and I saved walking down the aisle with my dad for the big one! My husband and I walked in together hand in hand to our legal ceremony, family was already seated!.

You can do the opposite. You and your fiancè stand at the spot where you'll be married and then your officiant can lead the rest of your family to you. That way you still have a special entrance, but you're not walking and there is no aisle.
