Site see honeymoon?

Chelsea, on July 15, 2020 at 12:00 PM Posted in Honeymoon 1 3

Hi!

We want to stay in the US as we arent sure what the world will look like in a year. We both want to do the tourist thing, be busy see some amazing things and somewhat relax. I have shouted out New Orleans or California. We are thinking a week for a honeymoon and my FH said Hawaii. In my eyes Hawaii is more relaxing and $$$ but I dont want to just shut it down.

Opinions? Is Hawaii a good place to be busy/ site see?

Hawaii is always so beautiful! The nature and scenery and beaches. There’s also plenty of adventurous things to do.

I went to Hawaii with family and was VERY busy. Hawaii has tons of history and culture, as well as great activities. We saw a hula concert, went snorkeling and diving, went ziplining, went on a day-long tour of the island, hiked a volcano. All told, we spent half a day at the beach of a week-long trip.

That said, Hawaii is expensive and can be a long flight. California, NOLA, and NYC offer lots of activities at a lower cost. Also, Colorado, Utahn Vermont, upstate NY resort towns have lots to do--biking, hiking, food classes, spas, gondola rides, hot springs, drive in movies, etc. My last suggestion would be a resort in the US that offers activities like a cruise would. There is at least one I've seen in RI and one in HI. Disney hotels always have tons to do at them and don't always have heavily child-oriented themes.

There's a ton of things to do in Hawaii! There are lots of different outdoor excursions, water activities, historic sites to visit and guided hikes you can go on - not to mention island-hopping around Hawaii!

If you check out our Hawaii Honeymoons Guide you can drill down by some of the most biggest islands and see lists of popular activities in each area. 🏖️
