My sister (maid of honor) will not be able to attend my wedding because she will be very pregnant and unable to fly. (Sad but happy because yay new niece!) Since she is my maid of honor, I’m looking for a fun way to incorporate her, even though she can’t make it, during introductions for the reception. My little sister thought of an idea to have the DJ announce the maid of honor and best man, have the best man come out - look confused - run back - and come out with a cardboard head of her haha. Just looking for any cute ideas like this so she can still be involved for the big day

Get an iPad and have the best man walk the iPad out with her on FaceTime! I think the cardboard cutout is a hilarious cute idea too! Lol

Agreed! an iPad with Facetime would be really easy to do. Just make sure your venue has wifi! haha.

I think the head cut out is such a fun idea! But also the iPad idea is nice to maybe just have it set up so she can watch a little bit of your day.

Maybe have him hold an iPad and FaceTime her? For ceremony and also entrance to reception.... That way she can not only be included, but see it too!

I love the idea of coming in and looking confused then leaving and returning with “her”! Whether it be the cardboard cutout or iPad, it will be really cute and fun! You can also face time her in for the ceremony as well so she is still “there”!
